Thanful Thursday

thankful for the one who loves me :-) and that we will be
together again soon!!!
much rain needed today
parents who are still in good health condition considering their age
friendships who are everlasting and real
electricity (for the internet, air etc)
fall ..its our favorite time of year

today is the first day of the rest of your life.......

The Engagement

8 days after his return home on Nov 13, 2010 he asked her by text if she would marry him this is the text got so excited that I screen shot it.

Tears of joy came down my face as this was so exciting, being ask to marry somebody by text.

 think he may been scared to ask by voice or person as maybe afraid of rejection
Hope you are enjoying our story so far, the next couple are very exciting.

They meet in person

as we left off before, we know that they had met at the bus station,

this is our first picture together, even kitty had to get in on it ;) guess kitty

 picture number 2, think somebody was a bit tired after all he had just came off of a 19 hr bus ride.
he was a real gentleman, he preferred to stay at a hotel...not many like him left now days

 one big happy family!  kitty likes his new daddy ;)

and finally, our first kiss, and what a kiss it was.

and "lay down beside me" talk about earthquakes, we both thought there was a major one that night.  He finally asks?? hon is it me or is the floor moving??? she said well it's not you cause the floor is moving under me too.

really enjoying each other's company the week was not long enough...we enjoyed every last minute.  We will post pics through out the blog, as our relationship starts with a blossom and buds into a beautiful perfect rose.

Part 2 of a true love connection

Their love continued to grow,  and meeting in person was now becoming a MUST
they carefully planned the trip around both of their busy schedules.  He left 10-31-10 on his way to meet her, however from the time he left for the (BUS) station till he arrived in Tulsa to meet her they had no communication, he had no cell phone, and couldn't figure out how to use wi-fi on the bus or at terminals.
She had given him some landmarks so that he would know when he was really getting close :-) he said when he saw the sign she said, his butterflies were doing double time.
She, left home way early (her butterflies were doing triple double time lol. She arrives at the bus station at 430 he wasn't to arrive till 515 and downtown isn't a place to be after certain times.   She goes to the desk to find the bus has been delayed for 15 minutes, so now it is 530 when it will be here :(.   She goes to her suv, gets her book, returns to terminal to read,  she couldn't concentrate, going back to the suv gets her pocket size bible takes back sits and reads (ahh peace) she was so nervous from the surrounds  Lord please do not let me get shot, or kidnapped :(  she goes outside to take a few pics before his arrival, she then sees the bus coming down the highway and now let me tell you the butterflies were almost making me sick.  She goes to the end of the sidewalk, to wait....the bus gets closer n closer

 arriving at terminal knees are getting weak,

getting the ok, to stop and unload arriving passengers

she was standing waiting, waiting, waiting oh boy he isn't gonna show, wait here comes one more passenger up the isle, oh Lord please let this be him and that he didn't stand me up.  he gets off the bus, and calls her by name she said yes. 
they hugged and embraced for quite a few minutes.  Walking back to her SUV (carefully watching over their shoulders)
he says I am hungry, they go to her house she makes him some soup and a sandwich (that is what he preferred)

part 1 of our love story

They met on Talk City in the fall of 09 with a cordial hello from him and a nice hi from her. The room was 40's  She was shy and apparently so was he.
They visited cordial from time to time....for whatever reason 
they lost contact.  BUT, on that fateful day of June 14, 2010 they were both back in chat both being cordial to each other, there
were sparks flying very high that night ;-)   they chatted for a bit, she had to go to bed as work came calling early the next am :(
she ask if she could call on her way to work he saying yes with a smile...he slept on the couch so to hear the phone, right beside him lol.   She nervously dials his phone number hoping he will answer
and GUESS WHAT?  he did and he seemed so nice and pleasant but funny he had to ask her to slow down talking ....he said she talked a mile a minute.  They talked and built a beautiful friendship and VERY quickly that friendship turned to LOVE.
